This is a picture of AJ Fisher. Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I design and fabricate quality, custom metalwork for home, business, farm, and yard. I also produce unique, metal sculpture for display in public and private spaces.

Born and raised on the Oregon Coast, I was encouraged by my family to express my artistic interests. An aunt who was a professional artist and a grandparent with a deep appreciation for the natural world were particularly influential as well as having family members who worked with metal.

I hope to promote understanding and a motivation to be informed & engaged. My visual arts interests vary from architectural design elements to figurative sculpture. The Eugene-Springfield area has been my home since 1991.

Since 2004, I've used the term erganicŪ (ergonomic+organic) to describe the majority of the sculpture I create.

I am educated in form and design and have over 10 years of experience fabricating custom pedestrian and vehicle gates and fence panels for residential, commercial, and industrial settings. I also design and fabricate custom furniture for use indoors and outdoors. If you have any questions or inquiries, please contact me. If you have a drawing or sketch you'd like to see realized in steel, please feel free to send me an email at info@ajfisherdesign.com. Thanks!
educationI received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from the University of Oregon in 1996. My focus was metal sculpture; figure studies & lost wax technique of bronze-casting in particular.
